£ 800 Donation received from participants of the 2023 Cape Wrath Ultra
The team recently met with the organisers of the Cape Wrath Ultra, an exciting endurance event that takes place through some of the most challenging and remote terrain in Scotland, to accept a very generous donation from this year’s race participants.
The 8-day challenge starts from Fort William and finishes at Cape Wrath, a tough 400 km route travels through the heart of the North West Highlands, with the third day - judged to be the most strenuous of all day stages - passing directly through the mountains and glens of Kintail. This section alone covers more than 60 km and includes a punishing 2,300 m of ascent in one day!
Our team rely heavily on public donations to maintain our income and therefore our effectiveness, so we are incredibly grateful for the extremely generous support given by the participants. We wish them every success in this amazing event!
