Useful resources for planning in the hills
We are very fortunate to live and work in an area of outstanding natural beauty, with no shortage of incredible spaces in which to walk, run, climb, bike and undertake any outdoor pursuit. It's vital to remember that the conditions up in the hills can be very different from those at the roadside, and they can change quickly. Additionally, mobile phone coverage remains poor in places, so it's worth bearing in mind when you're heading out and plan accordingly.
We are not mountain safety advisors, but in the interests of public safety we have included some great resources to help you make sure you're well prepared and make the most of your time in the hills.
